What if the PIX gateway declines?

With PIX, you can set a primary gateway and a backup: if the primary declines the charge, the backup generates the PIX right away.

01Behind the chat

Every bot message has a check behind it.

Now a PIX sale, seen from the system's side. No access is released on a receipt screenshot or on a notification anyone could forge.

  1. A double tap resends the same charge instead of creating another. If the lead asks for a new PIX later, the bot sends a new code; if the old one gets paid anyway, it's still recognized.

  2. The notification only triggers the check. On its own, it releases nothing: approval and amount come from querying the gateway.

  3. LibertyBot asks the gateway whether that PIX was paid and matches the amount against the order. Only the gateway's answer confirms the sale, and a repeated notification never confirms it twice.

  4. An invite link just for this order, expiring in 60 minutes by default. With join requests on, the bot approves only the buyer, so a forwarded link is useless; without them, the link works for a single join.

  • PIX has no automatic billing: to continue, the buyer purchases again, and the days they had left aren't lost.
  • On card, Stripe handles the renewal charge. The bot extends access only once the renewal payment is confirmed.
  • Close to expiry, a remarketing campaign can bring the buyer back. If they block the bot, the messages stop.

  • Paid in the last minute before the code expired? Access still goes out.
  • Paid an old code that was already replaced? The payment is recognized and access goes out just the same.

The dashboard shows where leads get stuck and what each customer is worth. The A/B test tells you which funnel variant sells more, with the margin of error in plain sight.

Where the sale stalls

The biggest drop-off is between /start and the charge: that's where changing the offer pays off.

Knowing what a customer is worth tells you how much you can pay to bring in the next one.

5% per card sale, R$0.50 per PIX sale.

Creating an account is free. On card payments through Stripe, it's 5% of each sale, and Stripe itself sets that part aside at checkout. The flat R$0.50 fee applies to each approved sale with PIX (Brazil's instant payment), Telegram Stars and crypto. Your gateway's own fee is separate and charged by the gateway. No monthly fee.

Where your money goes

  • The buyer pays your gateway directly, and the money lands in your account there.
  • With card payments, Stripe sets aside LibertyBot's 5% at checkout and the rest lands in your Stripe account. With PIX, Telegram Stars and crypto, LibertyBot never touches the money.
  • Payout times, fees and statements are the ones in your contract with the gateway.

Answers that show what happens behind the scenes, so you can check.

  • How does the bot know the PIX was really paid?

    The gateway's notification only triggers a check. LibertyBot queries the gateway's official API and releases access only when it confirms the payment; if the reported amount doesn't match the order, nothing is delivered. If the notification gets lost, a periodic check finds the payment anyway.

  • Does the money go through LibertyBot?

    With card payments, only the fee does: the payment lands in your Stripe account, and Stripe itself sets aside LibertyBot's 5% right there. With PIX, crypto and Telegram Stars, no: payments go straight to your account with the gateway; for crypto, FixedFloat settles to your wallet address; for Telegram Stars, the money goes to your own bot's balance. How long the money takes to become available is up to your gateway or, for Stars, Telegram.

  • How much does it cost?

    Creating an account is free and doesn't require a credit card. After that, you pay per sale, with no monthly fee: 5% of each card sale through Stripe, subscription renewals included, and R$0.50 per approved sale with PIX, Telegram Stars and crypto. On card payments, Stripe itself sets that part aside at checkout. The gateway fee is charged separately, by the gateway itself, and the calculator on this page runs the math with your numbers.

  • Can a buyer be charged twice for the same plan?

    Only if they pay two codes themselves. A double tap resends the same charge instead of creating another. If they ask for a new PIX later, the bot sends a new code; if they still pay the old one, the payment is recognized and access goes out just the same.

  • Do people who don't renew get removed automatically?

    Yes. When access expires, the bot removes the member from the group or channel. When the gateway reports a refund or a chargeback, access is revoked too. For Telegram Stars, a refund doesn't revoke access yet. And a repurchase extends the access period.

  • Which payment methods does the bot accept?

    PIX via AtomoPay, Oasy.fy, WaPix or Dotfy, with a primary and a backup gateway in each flow. Cards and subscriptions, international included, via Stripe Checkout. Crypto via FixedFloat, as one-time payments, with the assets you enable. And Telegram Stars, right inside Telegram. Recurring PIX and installments aren't available yet.

  • Can I sell to buyers who don't speak Portuguese?

    Yes. The bot chats in 9 languages, including Arabic, right to left, and charges in 23 currencies at the price you set in each one, with no conversion. In reais, the buyer pays by PIX or card; in other currencies, by card, via Stripe. And the dashboard speaks the same 9 languages: the selector is in the top bar.

  • Can I change the funnel while it's selling?

    Yes. In the basic editor, saving publishes: anyone who sends /start afterward gets the new funnel. Before you send traffic, test in your own Telegram with simulated payment and delivery, which stay out of your metrics. One caveat: if you change the price or remove a plan, anyone who was in the middle of choosing gets a payment-unavailable notice.

  • Can my team log in without seeing the finances?

    Partly. Each person has their own login and one of the ready-made roles: Admin, Manager, Finance, Analyst or Support. Support, for example, can't see payments or touch gateways, but does see sales and metrics. You can limit each person to the flows and bots you choose. Connecting a gateway, changing its connection and managing subscriptions are financial actions: they require their own permission and go into the audit trail.

  • Can I see where each sale came from? Does it work with Meta Pixel or UTMify?

    Where each sale came from, yes, through LibertyBot's tracking links: the click records the UTM, the device and the region, and stays linked to the lead who sent /start. The IP is reduced to a network prefix and a code that can't be reversed, and it never shows up on screen. With Meta Pixel, GA4, TikTok or UTMify, not yet: LibertyBot doesn't send conversions to those tools.

  • Does LibertyBot keep my bot from getting banned?

    No, and nobody can promise that: Telegram decides, under its own rules. What's within your control is following those rules.
